i am ravi adhikari and i want to get transferred to texas . i want to know something about texas like job opportunities costs and so on.i will also like to ask u can u get transferred to 2 year community college or not . should i look for a college having my inteded major? is the place safe to live in? please tell me seriously coz i am very much new in the usaa and i want help from nepalese brothers and sisters please help in finding a job if u can do it coz i am in very harsh condition

Ravi-ji: I know a community college in East Texas, which is about 2 hours from Dallas and 1 hour from Shreveport, LA: KilgoreCollege. There could be cheaper colleges than this one, but I think Kilgore College is fairly inexpensive than many colleges and a good school to start with. Also, since, it is located in a small place, things (like rent) are little cheaper than that of big cities. Work-- there is no public transportation, so a car is a must; if you have it, there should be no problem finding one.
