I want to invite my parents to visit me pretty soon.It has been many years that I haven't seen them. So it is very imp they get the visa. I was wondering what are the documents they need to prepare in Nepal to get visa and what are the documents that I have to send.I came to US as a student and single and currently I am in OPT and I have a job and I am married. Please help me with your suggestions. Thanks.

If Iam not mistaken the following documents:

1. Your job offer letter i.e paycheck stating how much you make
2. Copy of your Last 2 years W2
3. Copy of your Greencard (since you are on H! copy of it)
4. Invitation letter stating whats the purpose of their visit
5. Bank statement

Folks if you all need to add please do so

Hope that helps

I think from our side, the documents listed by kalekanchha covers it all. However, I do think our parents also need to submit documents in English proving their permanent residence there and an intention to return to Nepal i.e. property documents, bank letters etc.

I don;t think they need to prove emglish profiency coz they are just visiting their kids in US and will return to nepal but the rest I agree with you

I'm not referring to their English proficiency. Rather, it's their documents from Nepal i.e. NPP, land and house letters etc that need to be translated into English since the US Embassy there wouldn't accept it otherwise as evidence of intent to return upon the completion of their visit here.
