I think qatar airways is offering buy one get one free for today only. You need to buy it by today and complete the travel by the 10th of June. Check the website for more detail.

yeah I checked into that already but they only depart from three major cities and I reside in neither on of them so for me to buy a ticket from where I live to those three cities and taking qatar airways flight is the same price (over 1500)..thanks for the input though

Try Ethiad Airlines or Royal Jordan Air via Delhi.
By the way 1500 sounds pretty ok during summer, though you may get a deal between 1350 - 1500.
