I just graduated from College in the US (it's an AA degree) and currently working for a company on OPT. I was wondering if I could apply for the work visa if the company is willing to hire me permanently.

I talked to a friend of mine and he says that I have to have a four year college degree in order to apply for a work visa.

If you have any knowledge regarding this, please reply to this post. I appreciate your help.

Yes, H1B does require at least a 4 years US Bachelor's degree or foreign degree equivalent. Haven't heard about anyone with Associates degree getting an H1B. Maybe nursing?

This is serious a matter, I sugggest you consult an expert in the legal field.

At www.usvisanews.com, you could have a chat with a lawyer or post a questions, both once a week. They did reply very well. Try that site if those free services are stil available on that sit.Another site www.immigration.com is an excellent resource as well.
