We want to import few items from India/Nepal and sell them in USA, right now it is just a small scale business with initial investment of 10k to 20k.
1. Do I need to set up a legal business firm and register it to do import/export? Are there lot of legal complexities? Any good websites that provide these details or any cheap legal consultants?
2. Initially, we are just planning to ship the items by courier. I heard that there is no need to pay custom on courier? Is this true? If so, are you legally allowed to sell these items without paying customs? (Please note that I want to do everything as per legal requirements)
3. How to contact retailers to sell your item? Is there any good website for marketing your items?
