What is your status in US - illegal, out of status, preping fake docs for asyl, DUI, gas station dude and finally hinged with F1 status with below 2.0 gpa? These will drive you how far you can go in either of those places.
Or, who knows, you are already US citizen and want to migrate to Canada because you love hockey and bears to hunt. Let me know if you need further info.

Well, thanks for speculating my situation even before me...But on a more subtle note, i am working under h1b in a reputable company with decent pay..just wanna check whats out there..
