are you getting a car(rent/yours)?? if no, then look near where there is Metro Connectivity!! Suburbs[MD/VA] might be cheaper than DC!!

Well all the best....watch out for the traffic in DC....esp. Parking in DC!! I recommend travel by Metro!! P.S: Suburbs are Metro connected and are like 10-30 away from DC!!
