King Gyanendra's actions does not corroborate with his words. In every forum, he reiterates his commitment towards multi-party democracy and constitutional monarchy but in reality he has not done anything to fulfill his commitment. Nonetheless, he is being more autocratic and undemocratic day by day.

King's recent reshuffle of his cabinet proves nothing else but his autocratic nature. How can he conduct an election when the major political parties are on the street every single day challenging his authority?
Why can't he just form an interim government including Maoist and conduct election for constitution assembly? Everybody had hoped that the king would do something to restore peace in the country but he chose to fight the last battle to save his crown inducting his yes-man in the cabinet. But people are a lot smarter than that. I think he is beginning the ending of the monarchy himself.

Parites will gonna know clearly that the king is not willing to give up his power. this is a very good "sabak" for the parties, since the parties are still tellling that "if king does not think.......we will go to Ganatantra..."

what more parties wanna see from the king?
